Opening BUILDING stage III (Inaguration)
November 17, 2023 on our 70 year anniversary
“Boys and girls are the center of Casita de Belén, every day they show us their great capacity for wonder, they recognize the beauty in small details, they wake up with the energy and hope to enjoy, learn and share without limits, overcoming with integrity to the situations that have affected them, always willing to give smiles, hugs and love. Thank you for being our motivation and reason for being.”
Gloria Libreros de Sardi
In the last 70 years we have impacted more than 20,000 boys and girls
We continue to strengthen our internal processes, which allow us to offer our community a quality service mediated by affection, a humanizing relationship with a lot of love, which is reflected in the significant progress of our boys and girls.
We continue with two childcare contracts with ICBF (Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar) for boarding programs with 100 places for boys and girls from 0 to 8 years old. Half-day day school program with 100 places for boys and girls from 6 to 12 years old and the teaching center with 200 boys and girls for grades from pre-K to fifth grade in calendar A.
In October 2022, 2023, ICBF granted a biennial operating license for the boarding school programs, with an installed capacity for 137 boys and girls, and for the day school program, installed capacity for 100 boys and girls.
We began the work Casita de Belén III Stage which consists of two floors, the ground floor arranged for the classrooms for the Teaching Center and on the second floor an art room, auditorium, and classrooms for the externship program.
We reiterate our gratitude to our collaborators, to the Board of Directors to the Obeso Mejía Foundation, Antonio Obeso and Luz Mejía to the Maestro Cares Foundation and to all our friends and allies, who have made it possible for CASITA DE BELÉN to continue contributing to the well-being of our boys and girls and sow seeds of a better future.
