PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS
The boys and girls that Casita de Belén accompanies in its different programs are between 0 and 12 years of age and have threatened or violated rights, present situations of psychosocial risk and/or have differential educational needs.
Our boys and girls are seen as subjects with skills and abilities that allow them to face the problems they have experienced, which is why we work in coordination with an interdisciplinary team to promote the best conditions of care, individual and comprehensive attention and family strengthening to promote protective and adults aware of their role as caregivers and guarantors of the well-being of children in all its dimensions.
The boys and girls who participate in the Casita de Belén boarding program are in a situation of threat associated with different forms of violence, abandonment, and/or negligence in their comprehensive protection.

The boys and girls of the Externado program are between 6 years old and 11 years old, they are living with their families of origin or support networks, however, they present situations of psychosocial risk and/or threat, which require of a process of institutional accompaniment and in-person support on an alternate day to the school day for 4 hours a day.

The Teaching Center provides quality educational opportunities for 191 girls and boys in grades walking through fifth, with a total of 64 students from the boarding program and 127 from the community of the sector, in commune 4 of Cali. Recognizing that we are facing a social situation that demands efforts, we prioritized the healthy coexistence of our educational community (data from 2023).
